Replacement of the current Medical Centre with a modern facility that provides both clinical and mental health services for students along with non-clinical services such as physiotherapy and counselling, enabling a more integrated and coherent approach to delivery of services across the College. The project involved demolition of an existing staff bungalow to make way for the construction of a new 3-Storey Wellness Centre to BREEAM Excellent standard comprising Reception, Consultation and Counselling Rooms, 5No Bedrooms for patient overnight stays and 1No Bedroom for a Night Duty Nurse. Responsible for planning, managing, monitoring and coordinating health and safety during the design and planning stage of the project. Providing Pre-Construction Information to Designers. Developing safe access strategies for cleaning and maintenance of roof plant, including collective fall protection around the plant deck. Undertaking monthly site safety inspections throughout the construction phase, ensuring that high level of health and safety standards and arrangements were maintained.
