Upgrade of life expired Mechanical & Electrical plant including air handling units and associated ducting, new plantroom ventilation plant, replacement of the oil fired boiler plant with modern condensing boilers, installation of a new cold water storage tank to provide suitable maintenance access for cleaning and inspection. A new pool air handling unit provided facilities for recirculation and heat recovery and replacement of Swimming Pool filters, pool water heat exchanger and all associated pipework.

CO2 Air Source Heat Pumps were installed to generate domestic hot water, which would be at a temperature to protect from Legionella and two photo voltaic arrays were fitted to the south, east and west facing aspects of the Fitness Suite and Sports Hall roofs.

Preparation of Pre-Construction Information, undertaking Design Reviews ensuring new roof plant was within tolerances of structural loadings and developing safe access strategies for cleaning and maintenance of roof plant, including collective fall protection around the plant deck and Mansafe system for cleaning and maintenance of PV panels.
